[She's greeted with a grin when she finally looked at Marisa. The blonde holds her hand out as she opens the door to the stairwell so they could get out of sight quickly.]

[Marisa is staring at the vending machine, trying to decide what she wants. This is an arduous process since they machine didn't actually have anything she wanted, but she was hungry.

...and someone was watching her. She doesn't even look over at Sei as she addresses her.]

As flattering as it is to have you staring at me, I already know I'm hot, ze. Need something?

[Well, if she's bothered by being found out, she doesn't seem to show it. She also doesn't seem to want to move, though she does respond]

Mnn... [But she shifts long enough to tap her bottom lip] Not particularly. Though the conflict between your stomach and your brain is entirely amusing enough.

[Marisa doesn't care that the older girl was staying over by the wall. Her brow was furrowed and she continued to stare at the machine.]

Glad I could be of entertainment. They need to stock these things with a better variety of items. With such a diverse student body, you'd thing they would've put at least one Japanese snack in here.

a. Ever seen a girl so tiny eat so much food? Taiga's on her second bowl of rice, an empty plate in front of her and an enormous ice cream monstrosity waiting to become dessert. And no, she's not going to share with you.

b. In the courtyard! What a lovely day to enjoy the weather, listen to the birds, and--have all your attention on a tiny handheld. Taiga likely won't notice if you walk up to her unless you start talking.

c. It's 2 in the morning and Taiga's pacing the halls of West Quad with rough footsteps, furiously clacking away on her cell phone. It... might not be the safest thing to bother her.]

[ Tonight- or this morning- sleep's just not coming to Firo. In the early morning he gives up on trying to rest. Slipping a sweatshirt on over his t-shirt and pants, he sneaks out of his room and into the West Quad halls.

He doesn't expect to see anyone else up, and so is surprised to see Taiga. He strolls over to her; obviously 2 am is a great time to get acquainted with your dorm mates. ]

[She shoots him a glare worthy of a murderous beast, looks down to her phone, and snaps it shut with a sigh.]

...I was gonna say I wanted to make your acquaintance, but you don't seem so friendly.

[ Firo had plopped down in the courtyard with every intention of actually doing his homework. He's exchanged his school uniform in favor of something less formal and more comfortable. There's a messy stack of textbooks and papers beside him.

He can be found valiantly puzzling over it for nearly half an hour- the long sleeves of his shirt rolled up to show he means business- or a little while later, lying on his back and staring at the sky, all attempts at homework thwarted by mental laziness. ]
