[ Her other living arrangements were temporary, she knew, but it was still an inconvenience to pack up her things and move so suddenly.

Especially on a day when so many other people were doing the same thing. The only solace the hustle and bustle offered her is that people would be so busy with each other that they wouldn't notice her actions.

So here's Mystia, unloading her cart into her new room. Her decorations consistent of lots of browns and purples and pinks, and also lots of birds.

And what better way to relax while working than to let her unusual music echo through the hall? ]

[Sheryl gracefully walks down the hallway, carrying all her bags. It's a pretty tough job, but she had to do it properly! Lack of poise would be bad for the fanbase.

She then hears what seems like a song, but it was something she's never heard of before. Anything foreign sounding is always something unpleasant once you hear it the first time.

Eventually, she finds herself in front of a room whose door is open. And it's the same room where the weird song is coming from.]

[ Mystia she was almost skipping, moving along to the movements of the song, flitting this way and that to put up her things-- ]

[ And when she finally does catch sight of the figure in the door, she stops dead in her tracks.

Crap. She needed to get out there to get the rest of the bed things from the cart... but now there was someone in the way. ] Who are you?

[She enters the room, despite all the mess, and finds her way to the couch. She puts her bags down and sits down.]

Sheryl Nome. Maybe you've heard of me?

I was assigned to this room.

No. [ Simply. Should she have? She can't recall that name at all. Mystia watches her for a moment before silently stepping out into the hall and pulling the last duffel bag from the cart and dragging it inside. ]

Well, that's fine. It's better off like this anyway.

Tell me your name.

[ She drops the bag by the side of the bed, but doesn't turn to answer.
One index finger, long nail and all, comes to rest on a small nameplate tacked onto the wall near her headboard. ] Mystia.

Well, that was easy! Introductions are finally done.

I thought it would take longer.

It's not hard. [ She takes a small mourning dove plushie out from the bag, and when she sets it on the shelf it repeats a rather horrendous, crackling, coo-OOO-ooo sound a few times. It's sound quality is not the best. ]

W-What is that?!

...a bird. [ Duh. ]

But it makes a weird sound!

[ She turns to give Sheryl an odd look. ] It's a natural sound. Haven't you ever heard a dove before?

. . . Of course I've heard a dove before. It just doesn't sound right.

[ She depresses the plushie and it calls out again. ] It isn't perfect, but that's their call.
