But opening up to Morgan - and, by extension, to his colleagues in the Behavioral Analysis Unit - is not without its difficulties, and only time will tell whether Penelope is truly up to the challenge.
Notes: Guys, this is a Garcia/Morgan coffee shop!AU where the majority of the cast are still members of the BAU. Guys. Guys. I can't even right now. The fic was so much fun. I loved how Penelope was an outsider, and I loved her role in the story and her relationship with the BAU team, and I loved her friendship with Reid and JJ, and I loved how her relationship with Derek developed, and I just loved everything. Another thing I loved was that the fic showed that Garcia doesn't need to be a technical genius to be amazing. Just. guh. The writing was pretty solid and it was just a really good fic all around.
