The Good - In Oz. Saw L and Lisa, woooooo. Spent cash. yay.

The bad - watched the Dark is Rising on the plane. Felt so number by it in my brainmeats I couldn't summon te energy to crush the plane and everyone in it to save us from living in the same reality as the movie.

The ugly - nuttin is all so shiny.

that is all for now.

Why? Why did you do that? You KNEW! And you still watched?

I don't feel your pain. You did it to yourself.

I have heard of this film.

I have heard such bad things that I have avoided watching it, because I'm afraid it might prompt some kind of killing psycho rampage in which I try and destroy a world that let this film come to be.

Is it VERY bad?

" YOU'RE the SEEKER Will STANTON "

" Like, omg, are you like, sure cos i'm totally like, inexplicably ameriiicaahhn y'all, despite all the other Stantons being like, totlaly British y'know? "

I really hate Eccleston, and casting him as rider was insane, imagine him doing his Gurning Twat impression of doctor who and put a cloak on him. That's basically it. He was far more convincing being the Doctor side of his character because it looked slightly LESS outlandish as he gurned his way through his scenes.

also to be fair I am sure that Lovejoy must be able to act given people liking him in Deadwood which I have not seen. However, the above stanton quote is basically what he says every third line, with an ever increasing hint of desperation. He may as well be saying " Mortgage Repayments...you're my Mortgage Repayments ". and do NOT get me started on the others. One of whom will bring a stunning impression of an am-dram librarian to the screen, and the other two.....

It was very, very poor.

what is WRONG with people?
Why do people who know that the books are beautiful and the film is sh*t still watch it?!
I have no sympathy

it was on the plane and thus free. I was struck with morbid curiosity, which I shall regret to the end of my days on this Earth.

i suggest your only redemption can be rereading the books and promoting them to the world as Good
