In other news, Terminator:Salvation is not terrible, it looks pretty, but it's not amazing by any stretch of the imagination. Giant killer mech/doombots always get my vote and it has HELENA BONHAM CARTER in it but sadly not a giant robotic Helena, stomping her enemies. Bale is the worst thing in it, perhaps his much publicised rant (I am listening to the RevoLUcian remix now) was because he realised he was not being Batman but so clearly was reprising the role in his head. Frustrating " I'm the Ba...John Connor!". there is a surprising amount of female hotness too, of the usual movie variety. I imagine their offscreen conversations to be something like:
Peripheral female character #1 " I'm a resistance pilot!"
Peripheral female character #2 " I know you are, I can tell because they made you a bit muddy and your hair is all artfully fly-away! AND you are wearing cool leathery type action clothes! I'm a DOctor! A pregnant doctor! You can tell because I get to say some intelligent things and the men ask my opinion on something!"
#1 "so, when's your next runway show? I just got back from Milan"
#2 " oh, I'll be off to Paris for that Chanel shoot when I'm done here. It's so hard being this drop-dead gorgeous isn't it, it's so refreshing to be able to portray such believable characters, I'm really feeling the 'real' you know?We are so ooo fighting the movie stereotypes!"
not so much.
Oh and as Alaska Jason an I saw it at leicester square, some ponce of a bloke made us all wait and there were lighs dimming and raising, other theatrics as he stood up in the massive cinema and was all " so....who wants to watch the movie, raise your hands!" As the cinema colluded with him to make the movie 30 minutes late in starting, I assume he and his immense entourage were something to do with the movie. Prick.
They all cheered at the end as well 0_o
Oh and I've been having extremely vivid dreams in general of late, I assume it's the work/life stress. If my subconscious uses your image for its own end, I apologise in advance and will never tell you.
