Because of My Stupid Wrist (TM), I've been focusing more on "modern" sewing projects that don't have to be entirely hand sewn. I've made curtains for the kitchen, a maxi dress that I should take pictures of, and now this. I've been very inspired by modern, high fashion dirndls, particularly some made of African fabrics. I love this look! The dirndl is so crazy flattering anyway.

Thanks for the update on your wrist; does sound true, that it'll hurt either way for now. :( Do you think surgery is an eventual possibility?

So cute! I really like those African fabrics they've got in now, and you've made great use of that one! And, yay dirndl! I've wanted one since I was about four, when we used to go to the Cahnstatter-Volksfest-Verein in Philly, but in eleven years of sewing I've never gotten around to it. Yours is so cute though, I think I should!
