This will be lovely!! Yes, it must have lots of lace and bows. If it's going to be black, it's going to be FABULOUS. Where did you get the cotton/silk, by the way? I know of the white satin from Silk Connection, but that's it.

It's by Robert Kaufman fabrics and it's called "Radiance". it's available in a TON of colors too!!!

Just saw your post--yes, yes, yes! Wouldn't we be fabulous if you were all in frothy white and I was all in black? Let's plan on it for next year ;-)

Also, I'm SO sorry I never replied to your query about the pelisses/dresses! I kept meaning to mull it over and write back, but it kept slipping my mind... I haven't been very active on LJ this month!

That is lovely stuff! Fabric.com says it's very lightweight, but presumably much nicer than charmeuse. :D The white is at a really good price, too.
