"LIYOUNG...!!"

Every Super Junior member flinched at the horrified shriek coming from one of the rooms. Sungmin emerged from his, looking frenzied and still in his pyjamas.

"Hyung! Hyung, have you seen my Liyoung? I can't find her anywhere!" he wailed to Eeteuk, who looked startled.

"I'm sorry, Sungminnie, I don't know where your stuffed rabbit is," he said apologetically. "Didn't you sleep with her yesterday night as usual?"

Sungmin's face fell. "No, I couldn't find her yesterday either, but I was too tired so I had to sleep without her..." he said, sticking out his lower lip. "Ahh--my Liyoung is gone!"

"Will you quit whining?" Heechul snapped from the couch, his hair for once in disarray. "That thing's just a toy, it's not like it's the Crown Jewels or something equally impor--"

"MY LIYOUNG IS NOT A THING, HEECHUL-SSHI." Sungmin's expression suddenly turned deadly within a split second. He pointed a finger directly at Heechul, who almost flinched in shock. 'If you want me to start treating that stuck-up prissy creature you call your precious cat Heebum like the way you want to refer to my Liyoung..."

His threat trailed off but the look on Sungmin's face told everybody present that if he carried it out, Heebum would be much better off dead. Making a low growling sound in his throat, the usually happy-go-lucky pink lover turned on his heel and stomped towards the bathroom.

Everyone blinked.

"That's it. I'm joining your club, Donghae. Aliens exist," Yesung said hollowly, looking positively traumatized at what just took place.

"Somebody get me soju. I cannot believe I was just threatened by Lee Sungmin...and I'm scared," Heechul muttered wildly. "What the hell is wrong with that kid?"

"Don't say that, Heechul. There's nothing wrong with Sungmin," Eeteuk scolded. "He just loves his toy. He's had that since he was a kid, remember?"

"I don't need to remember unnecessary details like that!" Heechul near-shrieked. "Why did he have to threaten my Heebum then?!"

"Believe me, if I weren't scared of what you might do to me, I'd've started threatening you ages ago," Kangin muttered darkly before sipping his coffee. Heechul flashed him a death-glare and he recoiled slightly before attempting to match the glare.

"But, seriously..." Kyuhyun said absently, typing away at the computer. "Liyoung's never far from Sungmin's room. Where could the bunny have gone to?"

This simple question rang through the room that suddenly went silent. Nobody had an answer to it.

It had only been three days since Liyoung was first discovered missing, and everyone had yet to find her. Meanwhile, Sungmin's usually positive mood had deteriorated into sulky depression. There was an aura of hostility and misery about him and he became entirely antisocial, refusing to talk to anybody and only answering questions with glares.

This new behaviour troubled the Super Junior members very much. Sungmin was the kind of person who you couldn't be mad at, the kind of person who was like Donghae, able to make you feel at ease and in a much better mood. But he himself was going to become almost as bad as a bitchy Heechul, and nobody knew how to make the situation better since they couldn't find Sungmin's beloved bunny.

Sungmin woke up one Saturday morning and realized that he was the only person in the apartment. He was fine with that--he wanted to be alone. He knew it was rather childish to sulk about a lost stuffed toy, but a lot of memories lay with that one rabbit. Without her, it was like Sungmin was without his childhood, his past.

He did his usual morning routine--he took a bath, had cereal because Hankyung wasn't there to cook breakfast and he didn't feel like cooking, then sat in front of the television, slightly bored. Suddenly, lightning flashed from outside, followed by a boom of thunder. Sungmin blinked and looked at the window. Rain was pouring down from the skies like there were thousands of buckets of water being toppled from above. Thunderstorm, he thought, with an irritable sigh. Just what I need to feel better.

He scrunched up his nose before walking towards the window and looking up at the sky. For some odd reason, although the weather was ferocious, it was pretty calming to watch a thunderstorm. Sungmin leaned his head against the window pane as he watched lightning flash amongst the inky black clouds, wincing every time the thunder that followed was too loud.

He didn't know how long he stood there, but suddenly the phone rang, making him jump slightly. Sungmin went to answer it. "Hello..."

"S-S-Sungmin-ah," It was Kangin, sounding as if his teeth were chattering. "Mind o-o-opening the door for m-m-me? I f-f-forgot to bring my k-k-keys and I'm so w-w-wet, even if I h-h-had the keys I'd keep d-d-dropping them..."

"Hn."

Sungmin hung up and went to the front door, opening it and looking down the corridor. Sure enough, Kangin was heading towards him, soaked to the bone and shivering all over. Sungmin stepped aside to let him come in, raising an eyebrow when Kangin peeled off his shirt immediately after kicking off his shoes. The older man turned to him, holding a paper carrier bag that looked like it would turn into pulp if it had been under the rain a few minutes more.

"Here," he said, thrusting it at Sungmin. "Sorry I couldn't keep it dry..."

Sungmin stared down at the bag, bewildered, then looked up at Kangin again, who was stripping off his jeans and running towards his room, clearly in desperate need of dry clothes. He looked back at the bag and slid his hand into it to take out whatever it was containing.

"What the--"

It was Liyoung. A slightly damp, cold, but otherwise perfectly unharmed Liyoung.

"Oh my God!" Sungmin felt an enormous beam breaking the seriousness of his face and he hugged the bunny, suddenly happier than he'd ever been his whole life. "Oh my God, Liyoung!"

"I have no idea why I found that rabbit at the dance studio," Kangin said, exiting his room fully dressed again and drying his hair with a towel. "But yeah, I recognized her, so I brought it back. Now please, please be Lee Sungmin again."

"The dance studio...?" Sungmin said in shock, staring at Kangin. "OH! I remember now! I brought her with me because we thought we had to pull an all-nighter there and as it turned out, we didn't, so..."

He squealed, hugging Liyoung tightly again and jumping up and down. "Oh, hyung, thank you thank you thank you!"

"Yeah, whatever," Kangin grumbled, heading to the kitchen. "Great, now I'm definitely gonna come down with a fever."

"I'm so sorry about that!" Sungmin said, looking worried. "Tell you what, hyung, if you do get sick, I'll be your personal nurse. Forget that, you can ask me for anything! I owe you big for this!"

Kangin, who was about to dip a teabag into a mug of hot water, looked up and raised his eyebrow. "Anything, you say?"

Sungmin nodded, a huge smile on his face. "Anything!"

Kangin eyed him for a moment. Then he simply walked towards him, leaned down and gave him a short, soft kiss on the cheek.

Sungmin blinked in shock, looking up at Kangin with his mouth hanging open. "H-hyung..."

"Then if that's the case, I don't ever want to see you sulking or depressed again," the older man said simply. "I don't like it when I can't see your smile."
