A shopping cart (trolley, carriage, buggy) is a cart supplied by a shop, especially supermarkets, for use by customers inside the shop for transport of merchandise to the check-out counter during shopping.

YOUR QUESTION HAS BEEN ANSWERED. =D ...so why do we have pretty much the same accent if we live in totally different places? lmao

lololol I knew what the thing was, silly. I've just never heard it called anything different. All of those things are...there own thing. Vague descriptions are fun!

Haha, we have pretty much the same accent/names for things. And I cannot tell you how many times I hear "buggy" at work instead of cart and it makes me want to yell, lol. Same with the soda thing (it's not pop!). My roommate and I argue about that one all the time, in the fun way, of course. ;)

Hmm! Around here, a buggy is some sort of weird pipe/tubing race car. They look cool, but they're loud as hell >.< That, and horse-drawn carriages.

You call it a shopping cart? I've always called it a shopping trolley. But then, I'm British. And Northern. Heh.

Also, yes. Your voice = awesome.
