I had my first day of class and made some new friends! Class went well and we covered topics I am already familar with. During class I met the most perfect new friend: Imogean. So, like I said all settled in. I took a nap that lasted way too long, but I don't think I realized how tired I have been. Turns out I have internet in my room! Lucky me! So, I'll be able to keep in touch much more easily than I had thought. This morning mutti and I woke up pretty early, had our first real meal in 3 days and headed out to the Goethe Institute! So, after a placement exam and some paper work I made it to my dorm!! Left the other night from DTW into AMS. Mom and I had a 5 hour layover in Amsterdam so we ventured out into the city and not ten minutes out of the train station we find La Canna- a three story coffeeshop.
