[ The video screen is suddenly showing a very blue sky stretching endlessly above. A woman's voice filters through, delighted. ]
Aw, yeah. Now that's what I call fabulous weather. Isn't it good to know that the sky's so blue no matter where you go?
[ Yeah, everyone: meet Death. Perky since the beginning of the universe

[Why yes, Heather recognizes Dee! ... Albeit in the ... 'you were here once' way rather than the 'I remember the presumably dozens of times I've actually seen you before' way-- even if that odd sense of deja vu was what had initially drawn Heather to the spunky woman in the first place, the last time she'd been in Johto.]
Long time, no see!
... If, uh. You remember bein' here. Before.

Was I? Can't say I remember -- weird, considering it's usually the other way around. [Buuuuuuut shrug.] But hey, shouldn't take me too long to figure out what I've been missing out on.

[... Wait a sec.]
[Heather tips her head curiously. If Dee didn't remember, how had she remembered Heather's name? ..... Well she HAD been a little quirky. Maybe she was just foolin'.]
Well, uh-- you missed out on bugs, for one thing.

[ she remembers her being here before, and that part of her that's been sealed most certainly does-- even if Kisa has yet to know she's Death. ]

The weather is quite an exceptional change of pace recently.
Especially after such a turn of events this place took with that ridiculous amount of bugs.
[They weren't much of a problem for mr. STRONG over here, though.]

Yeah? Well, I don't know about you, but I'll take sun and shine over rainy and gloomy, any day. Doesn't it feel like summer's coming along real nicely?
But seriously, tell me bug apocalypses aren't a weekly thing here.

They aren't, to the extent of my knowledge.
There are a few mishaps that happen from time to time, but aside from that, this place is... rather peaceful.
[... He's never noticed it, either.]

And peace, huh? I can live with that.

The bugs? Hehe, they're kind of a long story.

Well, shoot. You sound like you have some time to kill, and I'm always up for a good story.

Some guy... dunno his name, but he thought it would be a good idea to unleash a bunch of crazy, poisonous bugs all over the place. It's finally died down after like... a week of it. It was a real mess.
--I guess it wasn't that long of a story.

Man, people have great ideas all the time -- why pick that one over all the rest? Seems kind of like a waste of potential to me.
[Buuut shrug] Hey, don't sweat it. The abridged version always sounds a bit short. I bet there were plenty more crazy things happening in between.

Have we met?

And we did! Not that long ago, actually.

Really?
[Well, this is awkward.]
I feel like I should remember you, but I don't.
Reply
Yeah, really. [Have a light laugh.] But nah, don't sweat it. I get that a lot. If it makes you feel better -- here's to new beginnings?
