There is the clatter of claws against device as they push the strange device away from their owner, and then the video function starts recording a white wolf starts pacing up and down in front of it. The translator seems to have turned on as well, translating the whimpers that now leave her.

[Ammy is, at first, shocked that the strange contraption she found near her is talking to her. But she soon gets over it and lets out a soft whine instead.]

[She thinks so, and she barks an affirmative.

Her communicator's translator goes off again.]

--never heard myself speak before, so I can't be sure.

[Whoa, there it is again! Ammy pricks her ears forward, looking at the device with wide eyes.]

It's called prison. Look upon these works and despair.

[Ammy lets out a shocked yelp, pressing the translator button again in her surprise.]

A prison?! On what charges am I here?

Existing, primarily. Everything beyond that is open for debate.

[This answer confuses her, and she lays down her head uncertainly.

After a moment she gets back up, shaking out her fur. If she is in a prison, so be it. The gods have done their share of crimes, and if she was here to answer for them, she would. Ammy dips her head to him in thanks for the answer.]
