My parents obviously didn't give more than a second's thought when it came to naming me. After two decades, I still haven't got a romanized version of my chinese name ( of which I had only by virtue of my later grandfather who cared enough to ages after i was born)

Hmm.. your mother sounds.. quite psychotic... I think it's a common thing. More common than people would like to admit to. My mom also has her moments... all of my friends in the past thought she was soooo cooool... and I just rolled my eyes at them.. I hate when the "Hitler" comes out and you're the only one that sees it. x.x; Luckily I had my brother and sister to mess up a million times.. the Hitler went after them, and I was safe from most of it.. only for the past 2 years it's just been the two of us. x.x;;; So.. thank god I'm moving out.. to a different city, to where I probably won't have to talk to her more than once a week.. and for that I am thankful.

Hopefully your rant helped you out a bit.... Just remember that it's not family or aquaintances that'll stick by you.. it's always your friends.. your true friends.. there's usually not a lot of them, but you don't really need many at all.

You know you love her. Despite her being the biggest pain in the ass when you're already having a headache over other more pressing things. We can't help it, it's the blood bond. It's just like she can't help being a pain either. XD
