Patch day

Just logged off wow, tommorow is patch day. First time given is 3.00-11.00 we shall see. My money is on around 20.00ish.

EDIT: Of course the one time I plan to do other stuff expecting the servers to be on the fritz we can actually play.

Isn't it tradition though that the server gets backlogged and lagtastic and full of bugs that take a week to repair and stuff? Meh

Also no that is not tradition. Blizzard has a damn good architecture. Usually a few bugs arise, minor ones. Also if you are not the US, you tend to not experience the worst ones. Also it never lasts a week. Blizzard is about the best company when it comes to deploying patches on such a huge system.

Update your addons though. ;)

What about EVE? Chris is pretty much siding with them when it comes to patching and I haven't played either long enough to tell the difference. How do I update the addons? Like, do I need to take them all off and redo them or put them back on or something.

And it's taking foreeeever to patch. *headdesk* stupid non-removable ISP firewall of doom with bandwidth limitations -_-

(Auzzies get download limits per month. Sometimes only a few gig)
