I finally caved and am experimenting with having Facebook in additiont to LJ. I felt odd with my parents being on facebook and me not. I knowm I still need LJ to keep most my Colorado ties so I'm not going anywhere. I'm not comfortable with the feel of facebook so far, but there are circles of people who aren't reached by LJ. I've been on both. I hardly use Facebook other than reading other's posts. They're usually short and keep me updated. :)

My mom and Mike's parents are on Facebook. I tried it out for a while, but I found having to constantly block the games really annoying, and I don't like the way Facebook keeps changing the privacy settings. (So I deleted my account, which is also not an easy task.) I also find that Twitter does much the same thing, update-wise, as Facebook. But if your parents aren't on Twitter, that doesn't really help you. XD
