Knee=sprained. I really love when they ask you to rate your pain on a 1-10 scale. My mom does it out of habit. It's weird. The ER at Kaiser Oakland has two slightly disturbing, "you know you're in oakland when..." elements: you have to go through a metal detector to get in, and they have signs everywhere telling you that it is a Safe Surrender
