Rejoice! God has risen, and so has the Doctor!

I gleefully declare myself a Doctor Who addict, and while I feel like I’ve been obsessing for years, I know that in the grand scheme of things I’m a relatively recent convert.  There’s nearly 50 years of Who fandom out there, and I’ve really only been watching in RL since 2005. That’s not to say I haven’t seen any Classic Who - I’ve watched

Actually there was a 7 year gap (1989-1996) where the show was presumed dead, then another 9 year gap (1996-2005) where it was even more dead.

And I'm not sure I like the term "wise". It makes me feel like Gandalf.

Also I'm not sure I like the comment on "nearly 50 years of Who fandom" since Doctor Who started the year I was born.

Well, fortunatly for you, I like older guys. Although I think the Doctor has you beat in the age category....
