Glad to hear you had such a great trip!

Central Park in NYC amazed me; it's freakin' huge and a wonderful escape from the jungle of buildings. I also thought the skyline against the green was impressive.

Was Sweden terribly expensive? I know Copenhagen is, and I THINK Denmark is. I was curious if the other Scandinavian countries were as well. Also, while in Sweden, did everyone dress really well? Nils always complained that Americans didn't know how to dress and in Denmark everyone dressed well. I know the two countries are separate, but for whatever reason I'm under the impression they are also quite similiar? This might just be ignorance.

Did you come across much anti-Gypsy sentiment while traveling? And did you ever worry about pick-pockets? And did people know immediately you were American? And did you encounter pay-for bathrooms?

Did you get to any operas or ballets?

Yay Europe!

I forgot to mention cathedrals. Did you make it into any cathedrals? The older ones especially fascinate me to absolutely no end. I do not see how people built them without any calculators, heavy machinery, etc.,. Absolutely amazing.
