Another WW is over. I had a good time and accomplished the things I needed to accomplish. The showcase went well I think. I made some mistakes and there are things I wish I could re-do but everyone seem to enjoy themselves. The showcasers all did a marvelous job and I heard many compliments on the selection of food people presented. The room was ( Read more... )

When it is hot, nobody cares about flattering. Really really. OTOH, linen is perfectly reasonable for an apron dress.

I think the Open House went really quite well. As I said, I think it would be lovely to see you do it again - I know Birdkiller did it a few years in a row and that allows one to work out the kinks. :)

I had fun at the open house. It also really saved me this year. I like cordials but trying other period beverages was wonderful. I want to try my hand at one of them. Glad to see you.
