The voice on her console panicked Sarah for a moment as it interrupted her from her sleep. Bleary eyed, she reached across her bed to find it, yawning and looking about in confusion.

Finally, she found the button to turn it on.

"What is, Doctor?"

There was a strange sort of irony in using the communicator to speak to someone in the same ship as him. However, he was far too excited to care.

"The TARDIS! Look around, she's alive!"

"Doctor, it's dark in my room," she responded with a small sigh, now reaching for the lamp switch. "How am I supposed to see anything right now?"

"Well turn on a light!" he said, rolling his eyes, "Or come to the console room, it's bright in here, every thing's working again!"

He really was far too excited than was probably necessary.

"Dad?"

Jenny pushed herself out from under the engine of her spaceship to reach for her communicator. She hadn't heard him sound this, well, happy in a while.

"Jenny! The TARDIS is working! She's-"

He stopped. Had he actually told her about the TARDIS? She must know, they were everywhere, you couldn't walk two feet without running into one, of course she knew...right?

"My ship," he added, just to be safe.

"I know she's your ship," Jenny responded quickly, fiddling with the communicator to better hear him. "She's working again? Why?"

"Oh," he said, quickly, "Right, sorry. I...er, never mind." This shouldn't be nearly this awkward.

"I don't know why she's working again, she just is," he grinned, "It's brilliant Jenny, you should see her, she's alive!"
