Beast: Picks up Wolverine, balls him up, and throws him off a cliff.

Wolverine: Performs a perfect swan dive before plummeting to his death below.

Is this a versus game? Because otherwise I can't imagine what you could actually use it for in the course of the game. But, hey, you never know! :D

It's a collaborative game.

Theoretically, Beast can throw Wolverine at the enemies and cause lots of damage that way. However, it is not a good move to try when there is a cliff nearby and you've already proven to have terrible aim when throwing snowmobiles and tables.

Hahahahaha. Sorry, I didn't explain. That's sort of the point.

It's a collaborative game - you control four X-Men against the bad guys. Noah was trying to show me some nifty combo move that he'd managed to get Beast and Wolverine to pull off, where Beast picks up Wolverine and throws him at an enemy, doing some massive extra damage.

He got all excited and went, "Oh, cool, check it out!" and attempted to show me this without realizing that Beast and Wolverine were standing right at the edge of the railing ....

So it was "Look what I can do!" *ker-thud* ... "Wow, you can kill off members of our team! Woohoo!"

There's a sequel? AWESOME.
We've just discovered the game this weekend, and can't stop playing it.

And just before we quit for the night last night, I discovered to my delight that Beast is able to toss Wolverine to his doom. :)

Yeah, the sequel is Rise of Apocalypse. You get to play as some of the evil mutants, like Magneto, too, so it's pretty awesome.

Maybe I add that to my Christmas list. Mom wants a list. I feel weird giving her a list and being like 'HERE, BUY ME STUFF KTHX' but the other part of my brain is going 'OMG I NEED A MULTITAP AND THE OTHER X-MEN GAME LIKE WHOA.'

I have no problem saying 'HERE, BUY ME STUFF KTHX', especially if 'STUFF' is short for a Lynksys wireless router and wireless hub/ card.
