Also on the sidebar in different folders are Wikipedia articles on the artists, albums etc., and my personal favorite: LYRICS to the songs! Amarok automatically goes to lyricwiki and fetches the lyrics to the song that's playing -- and it's amazing! I love Amarok... :-)

It is indeed amazing. I love the lyricwiki script; being able to update the site on my own and seeing the results immediately really takes the cake. And don't forget about last.fm integration. Every song I listen to gets submitted to last.fm and then I can stream a personal radio station from that. If you wanted to be really nerdy, Amarok has a great set of dcop interfaces that can control a lot of functionality without ever needing to open the player itself.

I accomplished the same thing in less work. That's efficiency, not laziness. It's only laziness if the result is worse. If I wanted to accomplish that on iTunes I'd have to make a new playlist then put all those songs into it. More work and not as good since it's harder to modify. Sounds like innefficiency to me :-)

You wanted more efficiency because you were too lazy to just make a playlist.
