These are excerpts from a eulogy given by the Australian Prime Minister P.J. Keating MP on November 11th, 1993, at the funeral service of an unknown Australian soldier (am I the only one who immediately thought of the Doors' song?)

We do not know this Australian's name and we never will

i've seen several tombs of unknown soldiers, and they have all been touching. The speeches have never been so plainly truthful. I love it.
