So, orientation is going well, I'm still in love with LCU and everything, although the "academic sessions" make me want to take a nap. I should probably get used to that, especially since Algebra is 8:30 MWF. GROSS!

So I guess I'm officially a college student now - my family just left. Its weird because I've never really been away from them for more than a couple weeks, so this could take some getting used to. Whatever, I love LCU and as much as I'm going to miss everybody (I already do) I think this is going to be wonderful.

So I'm actually moved away from home and living on campus at LCU now. ACK! Its a little scary, but mostly exciting. My roommate is pretty awesome, even if she is thin and quite pretty. Ya know what I like? That long internet conversation with a friend I hadn't been able to talk to in a while that lasted 6-7 hours. Just ended. Time for a short nap (maybe) and then ChikFilA Bible study! woohoo! This is happy! and I'm suddenly very tired. haha.

So my 19th birthday was yesterday and it was wonderful. It wasn't really anything spectacular and it didn't even seem like my birthday at all, but it was still a fantastic day. Yay! I just got off the phone with Tia and now I'm really happy because I haven't seen her since just before we left for Italy. I miss her like crazy, but it was great to get to talk to her! I wish she were home! Oh well. She will be soon (ish). YAY!

YAY! I'm home from Italy. I'm kinda tired from the flights and crazy layovers and delays and stuff but I'm also really excited to be home and not all that sleepy because it feels like 1130 to me. We had some kind of pasta for dinner every night so I"m kinda burnt out on that, but it was a great trip! and now I'm going to bed! I might post more ( Read more... )
