Yes, with things like cleavage inspection, weapons registration, walking tax, vagrancy and loitering laws among the things being mentioned today. I can see this curse is in full affect.

No, I did that earlier, when someone attempted to arrest me for loitering in Xanadu. Silly me, I hadn't realized that a park was no place to enjoy without some sort of purpose.
