I wonder if anyone has gone and read the official plaform of the Texas Republican Party to find that quote? It sounds chilling, but I'd want to look at the text before I started responding in a public forum.

In the context of the original sentence (in the platform document), the statement is even more strange... something about returning to the original intent of the First Amendment... ??? I guess I don't really understand what the document is getting at.

I wonder what the official platform of the Texas Democrats looks like on this point?
