i always lived in a double, my school never offered suites, but i think i would have liked living in on of those, just make sure what ever the living situation is that you and roommates have rules to follow and respect each other!

go for the suite. the more the merrier, but not all in one room, dig?

my first res room was a QUAD and i wanted to die daily.

If you'd have your own bedroom in the suite, fight. claw, bite, and kill to get it. If there's one thing that you never, ever get at college, it's privacy / a place to be alone, and it can be very good to use that as a way of stepping back from things, feeling a little less rushed and caught up in the stream of life.

If you wouldn't have your own bedroom, it'd probably still be worth it, for the social connections / forced intimacy and for your (semi-)own bathroom. etc.

My school offered suites, but I definately think it's a girl thing. I went with the traditional double, but I could definately see you as a suite type...
