Disclaimer: Sadly only the story belongs to me

It never used to be like this.
When had it changed?
When had he become somebody I could no longer recognise?
When had the kisses disappeared replaced by fading bruises?
When had his gentle touches and caresses become painful?
When had I stopped loving him and begun to fear him?
When had my life become a nightmare?
…I don’t know.
Love wasn’t meant to hurt…..not like this.

Jaejoong sat at the back of the class room, his eyes directed at the board… well in actual fact the board held no interest to him and the writing had long since blurred together into unintelligible streaks. The teachers words, simply a faint murmuring as Jaejoong’s mind wondered off to some place else. He knew he should be listening. There was this faint voice in the back of his head that told him he needed to pay attention, especially with his mid-year exams so close. However, that voice was distant, and he ignored it in favour of the calming world he’d entered soon after the lesson had begun. This was his safe haven. Ideas for stories he had yet to write flooded his mind one over the other, as if struggling to be heard, to be written. A smile tugged at his lips. He itched to pull out a piece of paper and a pen and begin scribbling down the words and actions which flowed through his mind, however, he told himself he would do that later, when there was nobody around and he was safe to immerse himself in the stories his mind told to him. That’s what it was really. His mind telling him stories, he never really had any control over what his mind would create. He chuckled silently. When he thought about it, it sounded crazy and maybe he was. However somebody had once told him that all writers were boarder line schizophrenic, they heard voices in their heads but somehow, unlike others, their voices told them stories, acted out tragic scenes of love and epic scenes of heroism, all inside their minds, begging to be released.
Jaejoong was so busy contemplating this that he barely noticed that the bell had gone and the students had long since fled the depressing grey of the class. It was a small cough that brought Jaejoong back to the real world. The one he escaped every chance he had. Snapping his attention to the only other figure left in the room, he blushed when he realised his teacher was patiently waiting by the door, keys in hand and ready to lock the room. His stomach jolted as he realised there was only one more class that day before he would once again have to return home. He frowned. School was his escape, and yet it was always over too soon, the last bell sending making his heart sink and the short trudge home, nowhere near long enough to prepare himself for what he was likely to meet on his return.
“Kim?” Mr. Jung asked. The man was used to this by now, long ago having given up trying to get Jaejoong’s head out of the clouds and into his books. That wasn’t to say the boy wasn’t smart. No. Jaejoong was one of the best students he had ever taught and his mind reeled to think of what the boy could do if he actually studied for once, or even just listened in class. Moving away from the door, Yunho analysed the others dazed expression. “Are you okay Kim?” He seemed to have startled the other again, as Jaejoong jumped once more, flushing red before quickly grabbing his book and bag.
“Sorry Mr. Jung. I was just thinking” Jaejoong apologized, making his way across the room. Yunho shook his head. ‘Always thinking. Sometimes I wonder what is going on inside that boy’s head’
