nostalgia fuels frustration....

Today I was cursed with a overwhelming dose of nostalgia. Right now I can't seem to focus on anything relevant to the present except for the chapter I have to read for government class, and I'm barely getting done with that. I need do laundry too. I remember when Nickelodeon was good. Now they have all the crappy kids shows playing all day long... like Maisy, I think, where the kids don't even talk... maybe its Kipper, I don't remember, but I miss Rocko's Modern Life. That was my favourite.

Yeah, I'd like to believe that this is some sort of joke that society as a whole is playing on us all and that one day all of the thirteen year olds will whip off their trucker hats, yell SURPRISE! and pull out a J.D. Salinger novel from their back pocket and start reciting it. Or that this is a trend that will wind itself down within the next decade---either one is possible.

Noggin has a show about kids who run an underground radio station. Meh, things might be looking up...?
