Found out yesterday that a federal shutdown means that the library will shut down as well which means I may or may not be paid during that time. Thanks DC for informing your employees of this fact in a timely manner. -_-
Ugh! Things so rarely get this close to shut down that I think we all forget that in cases such as these the DC local government often gets treated the same as federal government. DC should just get statehood already, its unacceptable to do this an entire city full of people.Closing the zoo down is one thing but closing libraries and trash collection? smh.
