It's been nearly 9 months since Steve passed away. His death really affected me. I feel like I've lost a good friend. I'm still really sad about it. I think I always will be. I'm 30 now. I started watching the Crocodile Hunter when I was 16. At first I didn't know what to make of him. Here was this wild Australian guy running around picking

It's still hard for me to watch his shows. When it happened it felt like Superman died. But I'm grateful I was able to live in his time. I stumbled upon his show late one night in 1997- when I was 13.

Me too. I also feel fortunate to have been around during Steve's lifetime. I'm sure his shows will play for years and he'll have a whole new generation of fans but it won't be the same.

this post was very touching. i am almost in tears. i agree with everything. i have been watching him for over ten years and i miss him so much.

I watch his show a couple times a week now. He's so full of life in every single one; I often momentarily forget that he's even gone. And then I remember :\ Or sometimes all I can think about is how such a person is missing from our world.

So do I. I'm watching now as a matter of fact. It really is hard to believe he's gone. It just seems wrong some how.
