What did you make of Laura's relationship with Lee Adama? It definitely went through many ups and downs throughout the series, was this a relationship that you enjoyed? Do you ship them? How would you have preferred to see them interact?

I liked their relationship at first, so close! Hated that he had to turn on her in Crossroads, that couldn't have been easy for him. Personally I didn't really ship them, although they were originally the pairing that RDM had in mind? But I can see why people did ship them, and i'm fine with it. To me though, wrong Adama. i think that Lee and Billy were kind of like surrogate sons to her.

I loved them. Like deborah_judge says, the idea of a younger man genuinely looking up to and admiring and being mentored by an older woman isn't common at all, and I really enjoyed that aspect of it. Seeing how quickly they understood each other, almost without words, and how they seemed to bring out the best in each other. Even later on in the show, I found their relationship fascinating. I just wish we'd had more of it, and that it hadn't been dropped for so long.

And I multiship Laura, but Laura/Lee is one of my favourites. I've written meta about it before. I think the were the original pairing, in the BSG bible, and some of the stuff in there is stuff I would love to have seen. I would have found a romantic relationship btween them just gorgeous, I think.

I loved their early relationship and even the complexity of their relationship late in the series, but I wish TPTB hadn't dropped the relationship for so long. It could have been really interesting if it had continued past early season 2.

Although A/R is my OTP, I do ship L/L. I think, in the early days, their relationship has the potential to be a lot more playful and fun, without a lot of the angst or baggage that A/R seems to have....and later in the series, L/L can be very interesting....in a possibly messed up way. LOL!

They are my favorite couple to write.
