whoa. just as I was finishing up a bit of revision, my rucksack started twitching violently across the room... i think it might've upset someone's chessboard--no one was sitting there, though. i managed to pin the bag down after a bit, and it stopped moving completely, so i've no idea what was making it go

I know and I think it's brilliant, likesay. Watch out for Uncle Algie, though. If he thinks you've a fear of man-eating plants he'll likely throw you to one.
