I feel like I'm back on Serenity. There's a constant buzzing and humming here in the hall that reminds me of the engines Kaylee always takes care of. I think I will sleep well tonight. Though the smell of a fire is a little discerning. Fire in the engine room in the Black is a very. very. bad thing

Ah yes. Your name came up during a meeting between all present Organization members, and our Superior was intrigued by the interest Vexen, Demyx and myself have shown in you.

Stay sharp. He is a scientist at his core, like Vexen, only smooth instead of bitter, and far more powerful. Demyx made a fuss about the prospect of the Superior meeting you; he was decidedly against it. In my opinion, Demyx was overreacting, but I can see why he protested.

Demyx shall be fine. He has survived thus far, and it is only treachery that will incite any truly harmful action against him. He'll likely just get the less appealing tasks to carry out, but it is nothing new, as he has a tendency to get on everyone else's nerves.

I hope you are alright, River. Will things worsen for you over time? Perhaps we should try to find you some help. I do not wish to see you harmed. Though it will not do much more than help to soothe your anxiety, I shall give you a few different types of herbal teas, and perhaps we can talk about it later, hmm?
