Dr. Horrible, created by Joss Whedon, is back up on hulu.com, how long this time?  No clue.  But go watch it if you missed it the first time.  The overnight net phenom is back!

It's also available on iTunes with a forthcoming DVD that will have additional songs, and a sung commentary track by the cast.

Hollywood remake of a Korean romantic comedy that was quite enjoyable.  I loved the story it told, and much of it did hit home for various reasons.  Overall I'm not sure if hollywood can do it justice, but I honestly don't care.  It looks good to me still, and I look forward to seeing it in theaters.

Japanese ISPs To Ban File Sharers

Albeit not much of a surprise, one must wonder what will become of the fan-subbers who depend on pirated tv-capped copies?

 As can be found on www.worldscollide.com (yes it went live today finally), Mortal Kombat VS DC apparently is very real.  Not some sick joke by Midway as a few had suspected.  Surprisingly it looks like it combines various elements of previous Kombat fighters, including arena transitions through breakable areas (alla DoA2+).

Actually looks quite fun, and it runs off of the open source mugen engine which can be used for a multitude of fighting game types in 2D.
