The community center is already packed with people, and the buffet table looks pretty picked-over.

Fortunately, there's a familiar blonde girl approaching with a plateful of assorted goodies.

"Hi again, Adrian. I saved you some cookies."

Well, he can deal with that. Especially since he's got company now. "Hey there, Eleanor," he says cheerfully. "That was mighty kind of you."

She shrugs. "Somebody had to, or all the food was going to be gone before you got here."

"Thank you kindly," says Adrian, and ambles over to the plate. "How's the day been treatin' you so far?"
