Someone like you

I was out with YG the other day. For a dinner catch-up. I'd always called it "dating" cos sometime back, someone told me "dating is when you go out and know a person better." which I loosely interpreted for all sessions of a meal or drink. Haha. So yes, it was date night but nothing romantic about it ( Read more... )

"Dating. I think a lot boils down to being at the right place, right time and wanting the same thing the same time. A relationship can be simple, but it needs the exact dose of the right ingredients to make it work." - Seriously, I couldn't have said it better. It isn't about like what many people say, being picky and shit. Then again, I don't necessarily concur with asking outrightly for a number. Unfortunately It isn't as simple as just saying hi, get a number, do a meal. A lot depends on how the other party responds. For instance, if you initiate a conversation and he gives a 1-2-word answer repeatedly. Then I'd say don't bother.

But there's nv really love at 1st sight. Sometimes a dose of positivity & persistence helps. :)
But then as Madonna once said "if u ever have to ask for anything more than once or twice, it wasn't yours in the 1st place." the key, is also moderation.

I do believe in love at first sight. Ok maybe I can't actually call it love. But I've taken my chances and it fell flat a little too often. Positivity is great, but isn't of unlimited supply.

Of course, but what matters is u pick urself up Sweetie. Cos who's gonna see ur handsome face if u fell flat & remain on the ground? :)

Thats why I always, without hesitation ask directly the guy that I am interested in, if he wants to go out on a date with me. And I specifically will term it as date romantic.

Though frankly if I am allowed to have my way, I would have made him sign a contract with terms and clause.

*sighs* the pragmatic business side of me... and I'm Libran... I fail

Whats the character of a libran that made u fail in what you just described? Wah I think you go for the jugular. But the candour pays off right? I mean, its eith.er a yes, + I do or no,+ I don't in your case.

Librans are supposed to be the most romantic, most flighty and most airy-fairy :P

And yes I hate mind games. Let's put our cards on the table please and see where we go from there.
