So glad to see you`ve written a story to fill that prompt. I love these AU fics because it`s so nice to see the boys in normal, ordinary family situations.
I think this was great, I especially love the relationship you paint between John and Mary. :)

heehee, I'm so glad you liked! I always get especially worried that whoever gave me the prompt won't like it or it won't be what they wanted :P
Aww, you do? :) I'm glad, I sometimes feel like I should write non AU but I just like imagining what it would be like with Mary around to even things out, though I doubt it would change Dean's downstairs brain (as I hope to show in the next part/3rd? part)

If this was okay, then I think I'll write more to it? I've started on part two while I'm ill and watching tv so it's possible!

I know what you mean, I feel the same way whenever I post a prompt fic. My greatest fear is that the person who gave me the prompt will comment on the fic, saying something like "wtf is this shit?" hehehe! Fortunatly, that hasn`t happened yet! :D

I think you`d do a great job at non AU fics as well, but I personally love to both read and write stories with Mary in them.

I`m feeling better, but I`m still on a break. Taking it easy and just writing a little, when I feel like it. ;)

I might try some non AU fics but I'd have to rewatch the show to get my head out the AU mindset cause I do change my John at least a bit :/ I've written about half(?) of part two so I'll try upload sooon... Not sure if it makes sense though! :S

I thought it was completely typical of Dean to lose track of time because he was making out with a girl! hee hee. I really did feel sorry for John, Mary and Sam, because they wouldn't have been able to prevent themselves from thinking the worst :(
Loved the comfort given to Sammy when he was upset over the whereabouts of his big brother. It's great seeing the family as a whole, doing 'normal' things :)
