Great pics, like always (the lock picking was genius--you're so good at re-thinking poses and props).
I loved the Goths going off for their ball. Seeing Mortimer as an adult is still so much fun. Great way to explain the relationship between Cassandra and Mary Sue, too.
Nice writing, too. The mix of tension and strained love between the Pleasant twins was nicely done. (and it's nice to see a bit more narrative)
(and you're all ready for the Pleasant Twin makeover challenge at the other community--what's it's name? backtomaxis?)
Glad you enjoyed the scene at the Goths. It was really fun to set up. I imagined they used to have a fancy kind of life in the past lol
The part with Lilith and Angela was bit hard to write, I'm very happy you liked it. Thought a situation like this would either bring them together or even farther apart, but I like the idea of them trying to support each other considering the circumstances (which doesn't necessarily mean getting along great either lol)
And, yes, I like this look for the twins a lot, but thinking I'll give them something a bit different for the makeover. I'm already working on it.
I loved reading this update. I thought it was great how Mary Sue and Cassandra got to know each other through the babysitter gig. Your shots of Mary Sue did a good job of capturing her sadness and shifting emotions. And I love the hair you picked for Angela. Looks great on her.
Don't usually pay much attention to the families in Pleasantview (except for Goths), but they have very interesting friends/loves/family relationships. I'm not sure about Skip's death, tho, but their story always bugs me, and she seems to get along with the Calientes (I mean, based on her info starting the game). That alone, shouldn't be good lol.
Glad you liked Mary Sue's new look too. :) Thanks so much for reading and commenting! <3
Thank you! Your comment means a lot to me. I'm really flattered, and love to know that something I write can get the reader interested in maxis sims too. :)
Wow, it's really odd to see Mary-Sue act so childish! Even with her life falling apart like it is here, I've always seen her as being able to keep her cool and act reasonably professional most of the time.
I think it's pretty funny that you made Mary-Sue the babysitter for Cassandra, because that's what I had planned for my story, in case I ever had to explain their friendship! It seemed the only way to explain it through the large age gap I gave them - I think I made Mary-Sue more than 10 years older! I hope it's okay with you if I still use this for my story (when I finally can work on it).
lol, yeah, she's, but she's also a woman who was always with the same man (I mean, since high school, never had any other boyfriend) and was always very overprotected, at least in my version, of course, so she wasn't dealing well with the change and instability of her situation at first, but getting better by the end. ;)
And, pls, don't even worry! I think the babysitting idea makes a lot of sense, I wouldn't be surprised to see it in other stories, too.
Hope you write your story, btw, I'd love to read it. :)

This was a very enjoyable read. I really like the factors of the friendships Mary Sue has with Dirk and Cassandra, and the connecting factors.
I'm getting hints that Brandi may be behind Skip's death . . .
