(admin) Qualifying fandoms

Only slightly behind schedule...let's get this thing started. And what better way than with a poll? Here is where we get to decide what new fandoms make it in this year. If you want your fandom in and you qualify to have your stories remixed, please vote! (And in case anyone has forgotten in the last 2 years, to qualify to be remixed in a fandom,

Thanks for the suggestion. It was put forward as an option last time, but there wasn't enough interest to make it viable. That was 2 years ago, though, so if there are more people you think would like to play (and would be eligible to do so), please send them this way to let us know.

I did wonder about that, too. I personally haven't seen a lot of fic for it, but that's probably not an indication of much of anything. I definitely qualify, and I'll see if I can drum up any other interest. :) It isn't a big fandom though, so there might not be enough people. We'll see.

It depends on the schedule of RR this year, but I qualify in New Girl as well and might be interested in participating.

I could be wrong (it's happened in the past!), but I don't think the Silmarillion would qualify, and Downton was put forward as a potential fandom last time, and there wasn't enough interest for it. The option always exists in the signup to request and offer non-qualifying fandoms, though.

... Oh geez, I don't actually know what the size limit is for qualification! Sorry about that. The Silm is a middle-size fandom and it's kind of experiencing a min-renaissance on Tumblr.

I will ask around if anyone is interested...

Downton Abbey, eh, I'm sort of out the fandom at the moment.

Definitely interested in seeing the Silm fandom here. It's does have quite an active following on tumblr, like Zeen said, and there is still a good deal of LJ/DW based people who might be interested in playing, too.

ETA: I have 30 fics posted on my home archive - but several of them are ficlet collections, and the total adds up to rougly 150 eligible fics.

I'd say Once Upon a Time is large enough to qualify (8k at AO3, 20k at FFN the last I checked). Dedicated fandom as well--lots of people will qualify. I'll see if I can drum up some folks from Tumblr to convince you. :)
