...I am hoping this is not a stupid question, but I'm still a little unclear about how we're going about the posting of stories. Do we wait until the due date and then post to the anon journals (of which I love my assigned one, it's classic) or do we post as soon as we're able to (...what can I say? I was inspired! That's a sign of a great remix match!)?

Well, I was going to say post as soon as you're able, but if you're already ready, I am not! I still have to sub all the socks to the community etc. I'll email you when it's ready, and then you can post - it's going to be locked to members only, and only the socks will be able to join, and then on the 22nd, we'll unlock everything to public view. At least, that's the plan.

And I'm so glad your match worked, because I know it wasn't exactly what you'd asked for, but I thought you might enjoy it. *g*

I'm sorry, total dorkarella about how this works. Is this right? I sign into LJ as the sockpuppet name and then post to remixredux or is there some other procedure I'm missing. P.S. Joining the chorus of thanks for all the work that goes into organizing.

Yes. The socks will be subbed to the remix_redux comm, and then when you're done, you'll post there under the sockpuppet LJ name.

Eek, missed signups this year. Is it possible to sign up as a pinch hitter?

It is. Just list your name, email address, and willing fandoms in the signup post, and put "Pinch Hitter" in the subject line.
