Wow. The original story told from Duncan's POV was just lovely and I don't think I had seen it before. It was impressively lovely in voice and tone.

And this remix told from Amanda's POV is evocative and lovely in its own special way. Reading the two together was a stunning experience. Lovely.

Thank youuu! I am so glad you liked it. And the original was just so gorgeous, I had to snag it to remix. I'm relieved the remix stands well with the original.

This is wonderful! It gave me actual goose bumps. I'll comment more later (I'm in the middle of birthday party preparations!) but I really love this lots. 8-D

Oh, yay! I'm so glad you liked this. I was really worried, to be honest. But the original was *so* gorgeous, I Couldn't resist. Your other stories are lovely, but so self-contained I couldn't think of a single hook.

I'm glad I got the chance to play with this, and I'm definitely remixing again next year.

This was most beautiful. It was a perfect counterpoint to the original story.

I particularly liked seeing the stories of the jewels from Amanda's side - the lies and the truth, and how they matched up with Duncan's opinions of the same stories.

Yay! Thank you! And yes,I had to-- I had to wonder what was truth, and what was lies, and what she couldn't bear to share with even him.
