I am, at present, finishing my thesis for Fourth-year Physics. I don't care about it as much as I cared about last year's thesis; that one got rounds and rounds of applause especially among faculty members. If Sir Puno, your hard-to-please Debate/Speech professor, calls your dissertation a "very scholarly work", it has to be a good day.

If she takes your hand repeatedly, caresses it, and keeps it close to her cheek, then it's got to be one of the best days of your life.

Chaos is Come Again is finished. I can't believe it. I didn't do a single bit of work this evening so I could read the three-part last chapter. It's finished. I think the last paragraph was one of the best endings I've ever seen. And the quotation from Othello... I think that really said a lot about Snape's feelings ( Read more... )
