Surely there is a movie out there that is, "Little man vs. the Gov't"

I can't think of any, but I'm sure you can. And where there is a movie there is a book, somewhere...

And Dystopian writing is crazy cool, good luck.

What i would love to see is an Anti-dystopian dystopia...

basically its where you think that the aim of the story is to provide you with reasons to avoid a dystopia happening by providing a utopia as the alternative yet in the end you find out the utopia and dystopia turn out to be the same thing...

now that would really fuck with peoples minds, probably be set as a HSC English Text!

I made a vow to never become a HSC English text. They get butchered. The ideas that get basically pushed into those texts, if some of them were alive today, they'd say, "What the fuck? Yeah, I knew what the context will be in 100 years."

Still can't wrap my mind around your idea. Too complicated for me. Let's just blow something up.

i agree, im sure shakespeare was just like, 'hey i just like writing plays that people in the 1600's enjoy, i hope people dont turn them into complicated sounding thematic studies when im dead'.

I agree blowing up stuff sounds like fun, if only there was a course in that, i think id do pretty well!
