She had always been fascinated by change and how it had effected others. So when Narcissa had been born instead of being overcome with jealousy like Bellatrix, she was excited about having a little sister. Something she could talk to besides Bellatrix. Bellatrix wasn't always the nicest person to deal with, and Andromeda couldn't wait till she had someone to talk to that wasn't so grouchy half the time.
Narcissa had wavy blonde hair with icy blue eyes, which in itself was a rarity within the Black family. She was father's prized possession because she looked so different. Bellatrix thought she was adopted simply for her looks. Andromeda thought she looked like a china doll, so beautiful.
