So I finished Living among headstones: life in a country cemetery by Shannon Applegate a few days ago, and it naturally fed right into my somewhat morbid personality and affinity for cemeteries. I've always found cemeteries to be very interesting places. I liked your observations about the two. I used to live near a smaller pioneer cemetary that I would occasionally visit. And the mixing of life with markers for the dead is definitely the way to go.
