SUMMARY minhyuk and yukwon play mario kart; jihoon cheers them on because he loves them.

“That is cheating,” says Minhyuk for the sixteenth time this half-hour. Jihoon has been counting.
Yukwon twists to the side at the same time his cart makes a sharp curve. “No it's not. Stop being a sore loser, hyung.” He passes Minhyuk's cart while it spins about, coins scattering, Yoshi just as wide-eyed and confused as Minhyuk.
“Jihoonie,” Minhyuk whines after Yukwon overtakes Minhyuk's cart and crosses the checkered finish line once again. Minhyuk clings to Jihoon's leg. “Jihoonie, who is your favorite hyung?”
Jihoon feels like he's stuck between the metaphorical rock and hard place, and Minhyuk eyes him expectantly. “You're my favorite, Minhyukie-hyung?” Jihoon offers, placating. Yukwon snorts; Minhyuk whines into his kneecap. “It's okay, Minhyukie-hyung!” Jihoon ruffles Minhyuk's hair. “I'm sure you'll win next time.”
Minhyuk moans pitifully. “I hate you, Kim Yukwon,” he swears, but he releases Jihoon's captive leg and settles beside Yukwon in front of the game console.
Jihoon alternates between cheering for Yukwon and Minhyuk. To make it fair, he cheers only for the losing party (which, more often than not, happens to be Minhyuk). The next few races end with Minhyuk shoving Yukwon aside and sitting on his stomach, driving Yoshi passed the immobile Mario and across the finish line, and he usually wriggles a bit, arms flailing, as part of his celebratory dance.
“Hyung. Can't. Breathe,” Yukwon says, gasping. His face is red, flushed with laughter, and he swats at Minhyuk's back in a futile effort of shoving Minhyuk off him.
Jihoon tilts his head, thinks they are having more fun in the floor than he is on the mattress, and joins them. He rolls Minhyuk off Yukwon and flops across both their laps and chests, enjoying his hyung-pillows until they both start grabbing at his sides, pinching and tickling him. Apparently, Jihoon finds, they have put their racing differences aside and have decided to team up and shove Jihoon off. Which they succeed in doing, and Jihoon doesn't mind at all. There's an ache in his cheeks and a lightness in his chest, expanded too wide from the force of his laughter.
“Surrender!” Minhyuk says, straddling him. “We promise to go easy on you!”
Yukwon, pinning Jihoon's arms to his chest, supplies: “or face the consequences!”
“Mercy, mercy,” Jihoon pants, struggling to catch his runaway breath in between his laughter. Minhyuk's fingers stop digging into his sides, and Yukwon relaxes his hold. They give him a moment to sigh and regulate his heartbeat before they lie atop him.
(Taeil finds them later, bemused. Jihoon rubs the sleep out of his eyes with the heel of his hands, but he doesn't stir so as to not wake Yukwon or Minhyuk. Taeil presses his fingers to his lips and settles down beside them, using Minhyuk's side as a pillow. Jihoon smiles and closes his eyes again.
When Jihoon wakes up again-much much later because the sky is pitch black and starless-he finds three more bodies joining their own: Jiho, Jaehyo, and what appears to be Kyung snuggled in the tiny space between the two. And this is how they stay.)
