It's still raining. Cyclonic winds have died down, though, but not before ripping my neighbour's tree out of the ground, narrowly missing their car as it came to rest in their driveway. wtf??? Australia, I think your weather beats Midwest America for being crazy and ridiculous. I mean, we jump 70 degrees in one day and within days it might cycle between wind, snow, ice, sun, rain, tornadoes, like it's nothing, but we don't usually get ridiculous floods like that. Isn't this the second time Queensland has flooded in the past couple of years?

That's insane that your husband was stuck in his car! Did he end up having to fly after all? I can't believe the planes could fly in weather where people can't even drive.

It sounds like a hot mess over there (wtf neighbor's tree!), and I'm really glad to hear you guys are all okay!

WOW I'm really glad you're okay. LOLL at the girl child boogie boarding in the front yard!! Glad the hubs got home safely.
