I had heard that they wanted another one and that Johnny Depp wanted to do another one, but Orlando Bloom didn't.

Oh well, Jack Sparrow is the best anyways ;)

Both Keira Knightley and Orlando Bloom aren't interested in reprising their roles. Which I honestly think is stupid. They aren't doing much these days and with finances being the way they are these days most people don't go to the movies as often so a lot of films go straight to dvd. But with a successful series like PoTC even if it came out crappy it'd still make money in theaters.

Nah right after the third there were rumors ... like official rumors not teenagers desperately wanting more Johnny Depp... about the fourth being in the works.

The story for Keira and Orlando in the third movie kinda finished their roles for me.
I mean it closed Nicely and I would kinda hate to see it any further.
but they left everything else wide open.
but that's just what i think :)

They left it unexplained. Was his deal to just stay for one day with her after those 10 years or was he free from the ship entirely. A lot of people have expressed that they'd like to see it further explained and finished.
