So, yesterday, I was wandering around drowning in rabid headcanon doing nothing in particular, and this one rather strange insident I haven't thought about in literally years suddenly came into my mind.

I was in Hawai'i with one of my friends, and it was our last day. We have/had this strange game we'd play where we'd go down just past where the waves reached and we'd build a sand fort. We had discovered a few days prior that using a boogie-board as a wall made it easier to keep the fortress from disolving.

However, seeing as it was our last day, and we had already checkout out of the condominium, we were lacking our boogie-board wall. And the tide was coming in. Naturally, the water was winning.

And all of a sudden, out of nowhere at all, this random boy kneels down next to us and starts helping us pile the sand on our fortress. I tell ya, I have never been so surprised.

For the next hour or so, this random boy helped us keep our fortress semi-intact. When my friends parents called that we needed to go to meet my dad, the boy smiled, stood up waved and walked away. I looked down at the fortress and then up again to say thank you, but the boy was gone. I swear, no footprints, nothing. Just poof. I can't remember if we asked his name. I don't even remember what he looked like. But man, it was weird.

And why did I spontaniously remember this now? It's gonna really bug me how little I remember about that kid.
